We are delighted to show you a glimpse of the permanent campus of Autism Welfare Foundation (AWF) at Shamlapur, Moddher Char, Keraniganj, Dhaka-1310. The campus was planned and designed by Honourable Founding Member of AWF and Managing Director of Dexterous Consultants Ltd. (DECON) Ar. Masum Kabir (Late).


The planning of the complex consists of an 8-storied structure.

First 4 floors (not fully completed yet) comprise of Classrooms of Kanon: School of AWF, Vocational Training Centre, Adult Activity Centre, Multipurpose Hall, Swimming Pool, Cafeteria, Conference and Workshop Rooms, Computer Laboratory, Library Room and Therapy Rooms. 

Remaining upper 4 floors (not constructed yet) comprise of Hostel/Residential Dormitories for students of Kanon, along with residential units for their caretakers and staff.


The campus was formally inaugurated in 2018. It would not have been possible without the blessings and love of countless well-wishers and supporters. We urge everyone to come forward and support us in our endeavor so that AWF can continue to spread and grow beyond measure and brighten the lives of all children and adolescents with autism.

Our Goals

  • Provide free education and training for underprivileged autistic children and adolescents.
  • Arrange job opportunities for more able people with autism. (Under process)
  • Provide Certified Vocational Training Course.
  • Establish training and education centers for persons with autism in different areas of Bangladesh (i.e. outside Dhaka).
  • Completion of the unfinished swimming pool.
  • Completion of the unfinished multipurpose hall.
  • Completion of unfinished workshop room.
  • Arrangement of residential settings for adults with autism.
  • Establishment of a regular school beside AWF.
